Established in 1996, SEAOF offers a program through which caring people can provide shelter, food, education, medical care, and other necessities for orphans in Southeast Asia. SEAOF is a Christian, non-profit organization adhering to Biblical principles, operating inside the country of Vietnam, with the goal of giving orphans a family environment, and a new start in life.

The founder of SEAOF, Mike Roberts, who is a veteran of the Vietnam War, had the vision of helping the orphans of Vietnam with the basic necessities and a good start toward being productive adults, and above all, to give them not only hope in this life, but also in the one to come. He has been working full-time inside the country of Vietnam since 1997, and pioneered a unique orphanage program that permits you to partner with us to bring hope to these orphans and their families.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you’ll take some time and see what SEAOF is all about. Our desire is for you to get better acquainted with the needs of the orphans in Vietnam. We also want you to be able to see how SEAOF is meeting those needs through its organized and fully accountable program. For obvious reasons, the purpose of this website is to inform you of the “humanitarian” help provided by the generosity of caring people for the orphans inducted into our program and how you can get involved. The need is great for these children, and not just in the physical realm. The help provided to the orphans we describe in this website is just the tip of the iceberg.

At the time of SEAOF’s inception we never thought we'd have hundreds of Hope Houses constructed along with hundreds upon hundreds of orphans to care for! With the help of those who finance the construction of a house, sponsor an orphan or an entire family, or give a one-time donation, amazing things have been accomplished.
